Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern your use of the C01 website and private client application operated by C01 Developments. By accessing the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.

/ 02

Invitation-only accounts

The client application is available only to C01 clients and authorised teammates. You must provide accurate information, use only your own account, protect access to your email and devices, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

A workspace primary contact may invite or suspend teammates. C01 may suspend access needed to protect the service, comply with law, respond to an account-deletion request, or enforce these terms.

/ 03

The service

C01 provides a workspace for viewing projects and deliverables, reviewing documents and invoices, receiving operational notices, managing authorised teammates, giving ratings, and, where enabled, signing documents. Features may change as the service develops, but we will not intentionally remove a material paid service without reasonable notice.

The application complements, and does not replace, the project proposal, statement of work, agreement, or invoice governing a particular engagement.

/ 04

Commercial terms and payments

Project fees, taxes, currency, timing, deliverables, payment methods, and refund or cancellation rights are set out in the relevant proposal, statement of work, agreement, or invoice. The app does not sell digital consumer content or process in-app purchases. Payments for C01's professional services are made using the method stated on the invoice.

If these terms conflict with a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement controls for that engagement.

/ 05

Electronic documents and signatures

When you choose to sign in the application, you consent to using an electronic signature and to receiving the resulting record electronically. You must review the complete document, confirm the attestation, and type your own name. Do not sign for another person unless legally authorised.

C01 records the signed document, document hash, signer name and email, timestamp, attestation, and limited security evidence. A completed signature is intended to have the same effect as signing the same agreement by hand, subject to applicable law.

/ 06

Acceptable use

You may not access another organisation's data; probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent security; upload malicious or unlawful material; impersonate another person; scrape the service; share access credentials; or use C01 to infringe rights or violate law.

You are responsible for content you submit and confirm that you have the rights needed to provide it.

/ 07

Ownership and licence

C01 and its licensors retain rights in the application, website, design system, software, and general methods. Your organisation retains rights in materials it provides. Ownership and licence terms for project deliverables are controlled by the applicable signed project agreement.

You grant C01 the limited permission needed to host, process, reproduce, and transmit submitted material solely to operate and secure the service and perform the engagement.

/ 08

Availability and third parties

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, internet failures, platform changes, security incidents, or events beyond reasonable control may affect availability.

The service relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication, email, push, hosting, and storage providers. Their availability may affect C01. Links or integrations outside C01 are governed by their own terms.

/ 09

Termination and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. You can initiate account deletion from Account → Delete my account in the application; access and push delivery stop immediately and the request is completed within 30 days.

Termination or deletion does not cancel payment obligations or signed agreements. C01 may retain invoices, signed agreements, signatures, payment records, and limited audit evidence when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

/ 10

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without implied warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. C01 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C01's aggregate liability relating to the application is limited to the fees paid for the affected C01 engagement during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

/ 11

Law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with competent jurisdiction in Cairo will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms for legal, security, or service changes. Material updates will be communicated before taking effect when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
